At the Intelligent Sensing Laboratory (ISL), we advance sensing and microsystem technologies through integrated development of devices, materials, electronics, and signal processing. Our laboratory supports the full chain of sensor development, from design and fabrication to application testing and detailed characterization. We specializes in:

  • Micro- and Nano-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS/NEMS): We design and fabricate micro-/nano-devices and sensors for diverse applications.

  • Advanced Materials: We develop and characterize materials tailored for high-performance sensing and reliable device operation.

  • Interface Electronics: We build the immediate analog and mixed-signal circuitry required for signal capture, actuation, control, and embedded processing.

  • Sensor Signal Processing: We work in both analog and digital domains, employing sensor fusion, machine learning, and other advanced algorithms that enable in-sensor and near-sensor computing.

  • Comprehensive Sensor Characterization: Ensuring precision and reliability across diverse applications.

We collaborate with academic, government, and industry partners and are open to new partnerships where joint development or shared capabilities can create impact.

Please see the "Opportunities" section if interested in joining us.
